And our users are not really You are seriously mistaken about how copyright infringement lawsuits work: corporations like Red Hat have to be really careful because since they can pay damages then they can be sued. There would be no point in suing Debian since we do not have enough money to be worth the legal effort. This is why we happily distribute some patented software which Red Hat does not, like MP3 decoders or (some kinds of) elliptic curves cryptography. -- ciao, Marco
