I think we need to be clear that Debian policy is that init scripts
shipped by Debian for Debian SHOULD NOT comply with this wrongheaded
LSB requirement.

LSB is, after all, a specification for third-party packages.  init
scripts written for Debian are first-party and can be Debian specific.
