I do really think this package is important, and I want to see it in Debian as well. Not having it in Debian blocked me from having openstack-debian-images to support non-HVM Xen systems. I do also think that it should be separated from GRUB itself, since that's a completely separated thing. Asking for it to be part of grub2, would be as if you'd ask mawk to be part of gawk. It makes absolutely no sense to me, these are completely different implementation. Could the FTP masters reconsider their view?
