Both Perl and Python should be replaced by C. Abolish concept of maintainership, simply all DDs have upload rights to all packages collectively. All packages must run dh_autoreconf, no more usage of upstream generated 'configure/config.*/Makefile.in'. Allow source uploads only. And I want hard candy merchandise with debian swirls.
