Whenever I restart my machine the screen is completely dimmed till login
page where i need to bring it back manually to normal brightness.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Nothing in particular. Just restart machine.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Screen brightness is completely low.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Brightness stays the same as set.
