Hi, debian-java has the tool "mh_make" that generates debian packages from maven projects. There's some java code in there that produces debian/* files: rules, copyright, watch, control, orig-tar.sh, doc-base.api, doc.install and of course source/format and compat.
This java code should be replaces with something in perl/python/non-JVM. Is there already some logic/templates in Debian that I could build on?
