In my case, it is not working that way - the problem is 100% repeatable if I just dpkg --purge libgl1-mesa-dri I am happy to test it in some other way to see if there is a reason why the indirect GLX doesn't work, but I would need some suggestions what to check. > OTOH the metapackage xorg correctly depends on libgl1-mesa-dri.
