Yeah, it's a bit subotimal. At http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=686819 there is a bug report, aiming at fixing this. I've been trying to get review before applying it since quite a while, without much success. I'll try again this week and push the patch. Thanks for your feedback.
