Adding something for NMUs in the package without adding some way to give more information for NMUs outside the package might result in information getting in there that will usually be outdated when an NMU is needed. (after all, NMUs are especially common when noone else did an upload for a longer time, so a upload just to get that file within the package is also unlikely to have happened). Bernhard R.
