and my "debian-svn" is a configuration of ssh:

User preining
So in effect it is
svn+ssh://prein...@svn.debian.org/svn/debian-tex/...
Absolutely the same.
I am still missing something.
And I am pissed that the alioth people are soo crazy ...
Do I have to wade through long old threads just to get svn working???
