We could do as with binutils-gold. Report bugs with severity important now, make it a release goal to make dash fully POSIX-compliant (including $LINENO support), and if the bug count gets low enough in time, do the switch, and otherwise, do it at the beginning of the next cycle (assuming we've fixed enough bugs).
