He could also replace the shipped jre/ directory with a symlink to the
system's JRE installation. Or does Oracle only work with the shipped
java? (That would be even more sick.)
That Oracle ships something that relies on an ancient compiler (and
then not even ships all necessary parts) is beyond comparison :-(
