Bug reports that are the same bug should not be closed but should be merged. Which means reassigning them to the same package first. > 2. #583613 = this report at the moment is targeted to package "nvidia-glx" > which is NOT the correct target. This bug has nothing to do with nvidia-glx > (proved it). The correct target for this bugreport might be either xserver- > xorg, udev or the kernel itself. It is not amd-64 related. > > Thank you very much for your attention and for all the help! > > Best regards > > Hans-J. Ullrich Just out of curiosity: You do know that you can manipulate bugs yourself, right? You can write a mail to cont...@bugs.debian.org directly or use the "bts" command line tool to write the mails for you. See http://www.debian.org/Bugs/ and the bts manpage for more details. For the above this would be (from memory): bts reassign 583613 xserver-xorg , reassign 581840 xserver-xorg , merge 581840 583613 That is if you are sure the problem is in xserver-xorg (or things it uses [udev, kernel]) and not the xserver-xorg-input-evdev you initially reported the bug to. MfG Goswin PS: merging the bugs is left as an exercise to the reportee. :) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
