When an image is read JigdoFUSE generates its contents based on jigdo files (jigdo and template) and a set of parts. When a part is not found under path from jigdo file, it fills space normally occupied by the part with zeros, so most p2p programs recognise the part as missing. The aim of JigdoFUSE is to provide a way of mirroring ISO images atop a packages mirror without the need of actually storing them. Instead of 680MB ISO image a 20MB template is stored. Disk space usage is much lower, but comes at cost of CPU time and some RAM space. I have already packaged it, but lintian still reports errors (I need to write a manpage) and I need a sponsor to upload it.
