What about “foo/bar -- similar to baz/quux” to avoid parenthesing issues? Or “like” or “similar to” or “almost like”. Or if “--” is causing grief too, and only name/version are desired: “foo/bar similar/to baz/quux”? Uglier but… Mraw, KiBi.
