I've did a little bit testing over the last hour and it seems that there is no longer any problem building on amd64. The very generic name is another problem discussed in #424844, I see no problem in renaming, especially because there are currently no other IRC Services packages in the repositories and I don't want to support the wrong impression that those are the one and only ircservices.
