hey folks, this package is getting waaay out of date. as the current maintainer has stated in the BR (which has been open for over 2 years), he doesn't really have the time/interest in continuing to maintain it and has offerred to give it up to those in the BR, but nothing has happened.
also, gutsy has moved on ahead and packaged the latest version.
personally, i have a small amount of interest in seeing this package updated,
as i would like the xmlrpc support in rtorrent which is blocked by this.
so, unless there are any serious objections i will just grab the version from
gutsy if that seems to work, and follow their lead.
i don't believe that the updating will cause too much problems wrt
transitions, since there's only one reverse depends (openser) for the
package currently in unstable afaict.
if there's anyone who's more interested in permanently maintaining this
package feel free to step up.
