I'm sorry, I assumed that these ports are still alive: http://www.debian.org/ports/freebsd/bsd-libc-based (GNU/FreeBSD) http://www.debian.org/ports/netbsd (GNU/NetBSD) Looks like they are dead at the moment... :-) Though, it could be changed if there going to be some people who would be willing to work on it, which I doubt. Well Fink(MacOSX add-on) and Nexenta (GNU/OpenSolaris OS) are still in pretty active development. That was my point. Please, don't get me wrong, I do not push anything or asking for anything, I'm just trying to figure out current situation with non-glibc ports. It seems to me based on previous replies that Nexenta is the only non-glibc port which is active at the moment. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.
