G'day All, Well I've gotten what I hoped was a package all up and running, except right at the end I get this;

Just a moment.... dpkg-genchanges dpkg-genchanges: failure: cannot read files list file: No such file or directory $ so what is a list file? dpkg-genchanges is 1.4.0.8 but dpkg --status says I have 1.4.0.17, hmm re-installing dpg_1.4.0.17.deb didn't do anything, the versions were still the same. Is there anywhere I should for this problem? I really have NFI with these dpkg-blah programs. Some other version wierdness, debian/control says it is Standards-Version 2.1.1.0, I'm working to dpkg programmers manual 2.1.2.2 which is for dpkg 1.4.0.8.
