One suggestion: if any Ubuntu patches were CC'd to the Debian maintainer, or filed in the BTS, they would get applied quicker. I've now put your gimp-print changes back into my packages, but I would have been happy to do this last October when they were originally created. This should also lower your packaging overheads, since you won't have to re-patch for every new Debian revision.
