Please understand that getting replacement parts won't be a problem for at least a dozen years. It's really simple to understand. There are newcomers to Linux and Debian everyday. This isn't going to stop. Those people have potentially old hardware stored somewhere for some reasons (they're called "geeks", or "nerds" sometimes). You'll always find somebody willing to donate hardware to Debian. This is a fact; it happened before. (and we've still got EBay -- the Project bought replacement parts off of EBay already in the past).
