(Because I forgot the X-Debbugs-Cc...) Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist
* Package name : pyxine Version : 0.1alpha2 Upstream Author : Geoffrey T. Dairiki <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL or Web page : http://pyxine.sourceforge.net * License : GNU GPL v2 or later Description : interface to the xine media player for Python Pyxine is a Python package which provides Python bindings for libxine, the backend of the xine media player. Using Pyxine, it is possible to write simple (or complex) user-interfaces to xine. This makes it much easier for one to write custom xine UIs. Sample i386 packages along with source are available at http://people.debian.org/~piman/pyxine. Python 2.2 and 2.3 are supported; it didn't compile for Python 2.1, and that's old enough that I don't care enough about it. Four of the tests are failing, which I have asked on the upstream mailing list about. It does, however, seem to work fine despite that. -- Joe Wreschnig <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
