Since recently there are also kernel-build packages, which appear to
be made precisely for that. I take it to mean the kernel-headers
packages have proven deficient in some way, but I probably missed many
things - I am even under the impression their construction is not even
done by make-kpkg itself.
Could someone elaborate on that ? (Herbert ? Manoj ?)
