Regrettably, I don't have time to devote either. Heck, I don't have time to read this mailing list. But maxima is a very useful tool, so I encourage folks to follow up with this. Clearly, the underlying algorithms are the most important aspects of the tool. However, a simple GUI front end with basic on-line help would be a highly desirable addition. This addition would make this wonderful tool approachable by a much wider audience. -Mark
