To best of my knowledge, a2ps and a2gs are orphaned. Casual inspection of the packages on my mirror reveals that they were created in February and September of 1995, respectively. Yep, that's twelve, or nineteen *months* ago. I would prefer it if you patched the more useful enscript (successor to genscript). Or psutils, dvips, ... in short: programs that people use and maintain. But you are of course free to do whatever you personally prefer. Just my 0.02 centimes. I use a2ps a lot, and know other people who do that too. So I'd like to package it. I did change psutils to support libpaper. I emailed the changes to the package maintainer, who forwarded them to Angus, who said he'll consider them for a next release (the psutils maintainer does not want to make such a big change to psutils; I'll send Angus my latest patches for libpaper 1.x and ask for his decision). As for enscript and dvips, I really do not have the time... Sorry. But it shouldn't be difficult. Yves.
