Hi! As the sgb maintainer, it would probably have been wise to email me as well ([EMAIL PROTECTED] would do). I just happened to see the email.... Anyway, is the Gnome Basic library "standard" (in some vague sense of the word)? Do people expect it to be installed with that name? I have no idea how many people are already linking their programs to libgb (the Stanford GraphBase version), so I am a little nervous about changing the name. There are no packages in Debian which use it, however, so it might not be so terrible to change it.
