The fact that dpkg 1.0.6 - which is badly broken - is in the stable
tree has been causing people problems.
I have therefore moved 1.0.5 out of Incoming myself and put it in
stable/{binary,source}/base.
I hope doing this without following whatever the normal procedures are
won't cause problems, but it is important that no more people than
necessary install 1.0.6.
It looks like I forgot to upload the .nondebbin.tar.gz file; I'm
uploading that now. Ian M., can you put it in its conventional place
please, when it arrives ?
