Package: ncftp Version: 2.1.0-1 The `ncftp' program has a tendency to be too impatient; it won't wait more than 30 seconds for a command to complete. This is because the default timeout is this short. A more suitable value might be 2 or 3 minutes. Alternatively, the "host is not responding to commands, hanging up" message could say how to increase the timeout (using `set timeout').
