Package: sfind Version: 1.2-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
The sfind package is empty on powerpc due to binutils bug #421456 . >From the buildd log [1]: /tmp/ccSLWNRr.s: Assembler messages: /tmp/ccSLWNRr.s:1199: Error: operand out of range (0x000000000000ffff is not between 0x0000000000000000 and 0x00000000000000ff) make[3]: *** [OBJ/ppc-linux-cc/format.o] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/sfind-1.2/libschily' [...] make[2]: Entering directory `/build/buildd/sfind-1.2/sfind' ==> COMPILING "OBJ/ppc-linux-cc/find.o" ==> LINKING "OBJ/ppc-linux-cc/sfind" /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lschily collect2: ld returned 1 exit status A binNMU will probably fix this. However, the fact that the build produces an empty package instead of failing on compiler errors is a lower-severity bug in the source and should also be fixed.
