René told me on IRC that he is using the GL stuff from the ATI installer, but: other OpenGL applications worked and crack-attack could be started, too. So I guess that it is the new glibc with better (stricter) memory management/checks in conjunction with broken ATI GLX libraries. So, imho the bug could be closed, when it is sure. The answer gives gdb or valgrind, as you have already mentioned. ;-) René, have you tried crack-attack with the reduced or extremely reduced graphics mode?
