And besides, I tried to get 2.6.18 support [1] from upstream for etch, but upstream does not care much [2] about 2.6.18 and only supports 2.6.17 and 2.6.19 (because it would be difficult to support 2.6.18 due to half-done changes to the interrupt handling there).
