It does NOT do that anymore already in the uploaded version, in fact it saves in /var/lib/dtc as it has been recommended to me by some people in IRC. Maybe it's only the message that is remaining, but I don't think that the case. If that (false) message is still there, this is not the case already in our CVS version. I'll mark this one as done.
