I don't see anything of the sort when I use dpkg-source -x.  I suppose this
is tied to your gpg config looking in debian-keyring by default?

A signature failure isn't enough to make dpkg-source fail to do its job --
unpacking a package -- so I don't think 'serious' is the right severity
here.  Indeed, AFAICS this bug doesn't affect the functionality of
dpkg-source at all.
