Could you send us the original grub (?) configuration for FC4? Also, what is the output of the following commands if you run them from VT2 in the installer (you can boot the installer in rescue mode for this, no need to actually reinstall): - 'os-prober' - 'linux-boot-prober /dev/XXX' (the partition you have FC4 on) Cheers, FJP
