I can reproduce this bug, and even after fixing the postinst to use "mkdir"
instead of "mkaxyldir", I get:

/usr/share/axyl/lucene/install/install-lucene.sh: line 74: mkaxyldir: command
not found
/usr/share/axyl/lucene/install/install-lucene.sh: line 75: mkaxyldir: command
not found
mkdir: created directory «/var/lib/axyl/lucene/servers»
/usr/share/axyl/lucene/install/install-lucene.sh: line 77: mkaxyldir: command
not found
So, the unexisting command is also used in the (apparently) upstream script
"install-lucene.sh", what makes me think that this command used to exist,
but does not anymore.
Googling for it didn't show anything useful, it's not in the axyl package,
and I don't really know where else to find it.
I wonder what mkaxyldir did, that mkdir does not.
