tags 402014 etch-ignore thanks I'm going to go out on a limb here and tag this bug as non-RC for etch. The only case where this has been a concrete problem so far was for a particular font package which had a broken version uploaded into the archive, where upgrading that package didn't fix the cache. In the common case, I don't think we have to worry about broken fonts in stable in the first place, so clearing out caches from them needn't be release-critical either.
It would be nice to have these packages all playing together well for lenny -- and even for etch, if things come together in time -- but the status quo doesn't seem to be all that bad.
