The only firefox Debian package at this version is an upgrade package for iceweasel itself. Do you have firefox installed from upstream? If you have a version of firefox installed that breaks when iceweasel is installed, then it appears this firefox package relies on functionality which in Debian is under control of the iceweasel package -- that's a bug in this firefox package, not in iceweasel, which AFAICS is well-behaved according to Debian's rules. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
