As of this morning, after a apt-get dist-upgrade, I've run into this problem as well. That upgrade included the latest iceape mozilla distribution.
Eclipse starts; I edit and *save* after each paragraph I edit. I then will suddenly get a crash. When I re-start eclipse, the edits that I saved are gone, which puzzles me to no end. Who is changing data already saved to disk, how, and why?
