I tried to replicate this on a machine running mozilla 1.7.8-1sarge8, with enigmail and mailnews installed. This machine runs multiple accounts and contains over 200Mb in mailboxes.
I did a search on certain terms in mails (body, subject, sender, etc) and moved the found mails around. I tried it with a "recycled" search window and a new one. But I can't reproduce the problem you had. Hendrik-Jan Heins 2007/1/4, Caspar Bothmer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
