I found a way to start xmms, but this is no solution for me: I removed libgl1-mesa-glx (which appears twice in the dependency (libgl1-mesa-glx | libgl1) of xmms) and replaced it with both: libgl1-mesa-glide3 and libgl1-mesa-swx11. Both replacements work, but I had to switch to the "nv" driver again, since nvidia-glx conflicts with both.
