When I committed the bug yesterday, I was still using totem to play my mp3 files. Today (after my experiment with "nv" and apt-get update && apt-get upgrade) totem also doesn't work anymore. The sound-system is basically working, gnome can still play the system sounds and aplay also works. Is it possibly a configuration issue? Which additional information can I provide?
