One suggestion that someone on debian-devel had about the problem is that maybe the Replaces shouldn't be versioned. If ssh-krb5 is upgraded to a dummy package first, maybe apt then gets confused and doesn't realize that it's supposed to transfer ownership of the file. > One more thing: Kerberos options seem unsupported in openssh-server. > See attached. The KerberosTgtPassing option sounds like something left over from an early protocol version one hack and should just be removed. I've never heard of GSSAPIUseSessionCredCache. What is it supposed to do? Was it supported by ssh-krb5?
