Package: autodir
Version: 0.99.7-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

After upgrade from 0.99.3-2 to 0.99.7-1 the home directories did not
automount anymore. Symtoms where "fatal: unsupported autofs protocol
version" in kernel 2.6.16-2-486 and "alert: handle_events: unexpected
autofs packet type 3" with kernels 2.6.17-2-486 and 2.6.18-2-k7.

Currently a downgrade to 0.99.3-2 (with autofs up to date) cures the
problem on Kernel 2.6.18-2-k7.

cu,
        Hanno
