This is incorrect.  It has been fixed in CVS HEAD, but due to the
invasiveness of the fix it will not be backported to stable.  We only do
security/bug fixes in stable where it does not change schemas, class
names or method signatures - except in extreme circumstances.  We do not
feel that this is an extreme fix.
