Unfortunately, it seems that the failure isn't anything so simple; none of the warnings currently generated during the build appear to account for this failure. Fixing this probably requires someone who understands the ire VM; for the time being, my recommendation would be to update ire to build only on the 32-bit architectures, excluding alpha amd64 and ia64 (I confirmed the failure on alpha as well). -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
