Sorry, I can't reproduce this. It might be related to the video driver; does it work if you install libgl1-mesa-swx11? Also, does 1.3.2-3.3 work? If you don't have it in /var/cache/apt, you can get it from <http://snapshot.debian.net/package/celestia/>.
