Package: python-matplotlib
Version: 0.87.5-2
Severity: serious
Justification: Policy 7.2

python-matplotlib contains a non complete version of python-dateutil.
Can't it depend on that package instead?

If you try to import zoneinfo and you have python-matplotlib installed,
you wil get this:

>>> from dateutil import zoneinfo
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
  ImportError: cannot import name zoneinfo

Look here:
http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_contents.pl?word=dateutil&searchmode=searchfilesanddirs&case=insensitive&version=testing&arch=i386

Cheers,
Daniele Tricoli 'Eriol'
