Iñaki, since Aug 1st, there hasn't been much activity on that bug and, more generally, adopting webfs.
I went on it during the l10n NMU campaign, aimed at fixing pending l10n bugs. Without news in a few days, I'll upload a NMU with that bug fixed (with the simple solution of not linking against openssl) as well as debconf-related bugs (332144, 276833, 313896, 314975, 324090, 324091, 338770) --
