Package: gnuradio-examples
Version: 0.7-2
Severity: serious

This source package is part of the GNU Radio suite. As of the upstream
3.0 release, the GNU Radio packaging for Debian has been restructured to
use a single source package 'gnuradio', and I have taken over as primary
maintainer of the suite from Ramakrishnan Muthukrishnan and Steinar H.
Gunderson.

Because GNU Radio is a suite of development tools with no dependent
packages, and versions prior to 3.0 have no relevance to Debian users
now that 3.0 has been release, I would prefer that the pre-3.0 versions
are not included in the release of etch, which is why I'm marking this
release critical.

Please remove this source package and associated binary packages from
unstable and testing and replace it and the others in the same situation
with the new gnuradio package.

Thank you!

Bdale

Hi,

The gnuradio-examples source package was removed as part of semi-automagic
archive maintainance on October 21st. I'm therefore closing this bug.

For future reference, if a binary package is not built by any source package
it will be removed during semi-automagic archive maintenance within a few
days of it stopping being built and you don't need to request removal. The
same applies to source packages that have had all their binary packages
taken over by another source package.

Regards,

Adam
