Package: gforge-db-postgresql Version: 4.5.14-15 Severity: serious I just did an apt-get --purge remove gforge-common. When it got to gforge-db-postgresql, I saw:
Removing gforge-db-postgresql ... head: cannot open `/var/lib/postgres/data/postmaster.pid' for reading: No such file or directory kill: usage: kill [-s sigspec | -n signum | -sigspec] pid | jobspec ... or kill -l [sigspec] dpkg: error processing gforge-db-postgresql (--purge): subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 1 /etc/postgresql/8.1/main//pg_hba.conf replacement already wanted, not changing. I then tried again to run dpkg --purge gforge-db-postgresql. Now I get: Removing gforge-db-postgresql ... grep: /etc/gforge/gforge.conf: No such file or directory grep: /etc/gforge/gforge.conf: No such file or directory Enter name of role to drop: I have no idea what it is asking me. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17.2 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages gforge-db-postgresql depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.4 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 2.17.1 Miscellaneous utilities specific t pn gforge-common <none> (no description available) ii libdbd-pg-perl 1.49-1 a PostgreSQL interface for Perl 5 ii libdbi-perl 1.52-1 Perl5 database interface by Tim Bu ii libhtml-parser-perl 3.55-1 A collection of modules that parse ii libmail-sendmail-perl 0.79-4 Send email from a perl script ii libtext-autoformat-perl 1.13-1 Perl module for automatic text wra ii perl [libmime-base64-perl] 5.8.8-6.1 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii php4-cgi 4:4.4.4-3 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-cli 4:4.4.4-3 command-line interpreter for the p ii php4-pgsql 4:4.4.4-3 PostgreSQL module for php4 ii postgresql-8.1 8.1.4-6 object-relational SQL database, ve gforge-db-postgresql recommends no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
